Why people love it

• The staff. Guests in 2026 name Simone, Francesca and the sommelier Giorgia, and many call the service attentive and warm.
• The restaurant. Guests praise the dishes and wine cellar, and a visitor who only had lunch called the restaurant a real discovery.
• Pool and spa. A July 2026 guest says the pool, spa and sauna were perfect for relaxing.
• A quiet stay near Genoa. Guests say it is quiet and secluded but the train station is a 2-minute walk, with Genoa reachable by train or car.

The worst thing guests say

Billing disputes recur. A November 2025 guest was charged for bar items that were not theirs, an April 2025 guest was charged for room service they said they did not order, and another in November 2025 objected to charges. Several guests in September 2026 said the rooms and price did not match a five-star hotel, and one said a sea-view room was tiny. Breakfast portions were called small in 2024.
