Why people love it

• Staff by name. Guests name Milena (maître d') and Carlo on the terrace, and Pietro and Filippo in the restaurant. An October 2026 guest wrote: "I have not stayed anywhere in the world with better service."

In 16 stayer reviews since July 2026, the lowest rating is 4 stars, from August 2026, noting there is no spa or pool. Earlier stayer complaints: a September 2025 guest found a suite poorly decorated, a July 2025 guest said the air conditioning was turned off in both rooms, a November 2023 guest waited an hour for tea at breakfast and was not warned about a party, and an April 2022 guest on the third floor heard the restaurant upstairs until 2 am. Several 1 and 2-star reviews from 2023 to 2026 come from visitors who ate or drank at the terrace or tea room. They mention a lamb dish that was mostly bone (September 2025), small dishes around €30 (December 2023) and slow aperitif service (July 2025).
