Hotel NH Milano Machiavelli

A four-star NH hotel about 10 minutes from the central station with a restaurant, meeting rooms and parking.

Why people love it

• Staff. Deysi, Gilda, Sara and Daisy at breakfast are named for kindness and professionalism, and receptionists helped one guest through a family emergency.
• Restaurant and meetings. Several guests praise the cuisine, the business lunches and the meeting rooms.
• Rooms. Business guests describe spacious, clean, well air-conditioned rooms.
• Transport. Reviewers say it is convenient for the central station and metro, about 20 minutes on foot from the Duomo.

Why they come back

"I stayed at this hotel for work on two different occasions this year. Both times I found the staff friendly and professional, and the rooms spacious, modern, and clean."

The worst thing guests say

Dated rooms recur. Guests in September 2024, October 2025, September 2026 and earlier called the rooms old, with 1980s bathrooms, a smoke smell, a noisy bed or a moldy refrigerator. Guests in October 2024 and October 2023 reported air conditioning not working. In October 2025 a guest said they were charged in error after a stay, and several guests reported rude front desk staff in 2025 and 2026.

Insider tips

• Ask for a renovated room if you can.
• Check that the air conditioning works.
• Allow time for the 10-minute walk or short taxi from the station.
