Why people love it
- Location and transport. Guests mention the metro, trams and buses right outside, about 10 minutes on foot to the Duomo. One guest attending CPHI had a direct metro link to the exhibition center.
- Staff. Mary Grace and the reception team are praised for patience, good English and going beyond the basics.
- Rooms. Reviewers describe spacious, modern, clean rooms with rain showers, comfortable bedding and strong air conditioning.
- Included extras. The minibar with water, snacks, juice and soft drinks is complimentary and restocked daily.
Why they come back
"This was my third stay at Hotel Milu and it remains one of my favorite properties."
The worst thing guests say
Noise recurs. Four guests between October 2025 and April 2026 said street-facing rooms are noisy with trams and traffic at a busy intersection, and one said an air conditioner unit in the courtyard ran all night with a room that stayed at 24 degrees in November. Others said rooms facing the interior courtyard have no view.
Insider tips
- Ask for a room away from the street if you are a light sleeper.
- A public garage, Unes, is a short walk away if you drive.
- Reaching the hotel by car is hard in the center.
Who it's for: travelers who want a modern, clean base on the metro in the Porta Venezia neighborhood.
Skip it if you are a light sleeper and cannot get a courtyard room.
