Why people love it

• Staff who go out of their way. A June 2026 guest wrote that Enzo made their 81-year-old father feel comfortable. Another guest had a room ready within 45 minutes and a small bottle of Prosecco waiting for a graduation.
• Location by the castle and the water. Guests describe sea-view rooms and a private beach area, with restaurants and shops close by.
• The rooftop. La Lampara, the top-floor restaurant, is called excellent, and several guests had drinks on the rooftop bar.
• Value for a sea-view room. One October 2026 guest said the superior sea-view room was good value and comfortable.

The worst thing guests say

Many guests say the hotel does not feel like five stars. Since July 2025, at least five overnight guests described dated interiors, tiny bathrooms, no outdoor pool at the main building, or a price that felt too high for what they got, and the newest reviews average 3.9 stars against 4.5 lifetime. In 2022 two guests described rude or unfriendly staff. Several one-star reviews come from visitors who paid 20 euros for a spritz.

• The outdoor pool is at a sister hotel a few steps away, so check which pool you can use.
• Ask about rooftop bar access when you book, as one guest was refused entry in August 2025.
• Book a sea-view room.
