Grand Hotel Il Moresco

An upscale hotel in a 1950s villa in Ischia Porto, set in a botanical garden with a private beach, two pools, a spa and a restaurant.

Why people love it

• The gardens. Guests describe flowers and plants everywhere and grounds kept to the smallest detail, in a quiet part of Ischia.
• Service. Recent guests call the staff friendly and attentive, and one said they could not do enough for you.
• The spa. A 2026 guest called the spa fantastic and the massages unforgettable.
• Breakfast. Honeymooners in August 2025 enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with a wide variety of options, and another guest called it superb.
• A calm stay. Several guests describe a peaceful hotel where the clientele skews older.

Why they come back

"A place we'll always return to with great pleasure. We had a truly pleasant stay at Hotel Il Moresco, our fourth time here."

The worst thing guests say

Among the lowest ratings, two guests in 2023 and 2024 described the manager speaking rudely and lapses at the front desk. In June 2025 one guest was disappointed over a week-long stay. A July 2026 guest was unhappy with how a phone call before booking was handled. Reviews from 2018 and 2021 complained about the restaurant and breakfast, and nothing similar appears in recent reviews.
