Why people love it

• Staff. Reviewers in September and October 2026 call the service kind, professional and top-notch. A guest who walked in without a reservation said the staff were welcoming from the first moment.
• Rooftop. Guests drink and dine on the rooftop terrace and one says you can listen to the opera from it. An October 2026 guest called dinner a bit pricey but the food good, and another praised the local wines.
• Breakfast. Several guests call it superb or top-notch, with a good choice of food.
• Parking and charging. Two guests mention parking at the hotel, and one says staff charged their electric vehicle. A motorbike guest was offered the hotel yard so they would not pay €25 for parking.

Booking and listing disputes are the most serious complaints. In July 2026 a guest said money was stolen after room service and that reception did not investigate. In October 2025 and August 2025, two guests who booked through Booking.com wrote that photos or ratings did not match what they found (both are cut off). In June 2023 a guest was placed in a separate building from the one on the map. In August 2026 a returning guest disputed how a booking change for two rooms was handled (cut off). In the 18 stayer reviews since August 2026, the lowest rating is that 1-star booking change.

• Reserve the spa in the morning; a 2019 guest was asked to leave when a queue formed for a spa that fits 4 adults.
