Why people love it

• Location. Guests describe it as a short walk from St. Mark's Square and the vaporetto, with restaurants nearby.
• Strong air conditioning. Guests in July, August and September 2026 single out the AC. One wrote that it "kept the room nice and cool/dry after a long day of walking in the heat."
• Staff and concierge. Enrico and Nicola are named for help with restaurants, transfers and a cancelled flight. One guest booked a transfer to and from the train station through the hotel.
• Snacks and pastries. Rooms have a minibar stocked with yogurt, juice and biscottate, which one guest used for breakfast, plus a pod coffee machine. The affiliated pastry shop downstairs is where several guests had breakfast.
• Renovated rooms. An August 2026 guest praised the spotless rooms and a well executed renovation.

The worst thing guests say

In the 18 stayer reviews since June 2026, the lowest rating is 4 stars, from July 2026, where the guest found the rooms very small. Two other reviews describe rude staff at the cafe and bar, one 1-star review in September 2026 from a guest who ordered drinks and one in January 2024 about the coffee shop downstairs. In 2025, a July guest reported a noisy area, tiny rooms, cot-like beds and a room that was not very clean, an August guest said check-in staff mixed up the booking and assigned a room with problems, and in August 2024 a guest reported a leak from the bathroom above that the front desk did not fix.
