Palazzo Veneziano - Venice Collection

A Venetian hotel near the Accademia bridge with lagoon-view rooms, some with a rooftop whirlpool tub, an elevator and a bar.

Why people love it

• Rooms with a whirlpool. Guests who stayed several times praise the rooms with a rooftop whirlpool, and a September 2026 guest enjoyed a junior suite with a jacuzzi over the canal.
• Water taxi access. A water taxi dock sits right in front, and a vaporetto stop is next door, so guests carry no luggage over bridges.
• Air conditioning. Several reviewers point out the air conditioning is cold and quiet.
• Staff. Raul and Rima are thanked by name, and guests mention helpful advice about getting around.
• A calmer part of town. Guests describe a quieter, less touristy area with trattorias nearby and the Accademia Gallery on foot.

Why they come back

"We've stayed at the Palazzo Veneziano several times now. The rooms are fantastic, especially the ones with the rooftop whirlpool."

The worst thing guests say

Billing and refund disputes. Since 2020 at least eight guests complained that the hotel would not refund or move bookings after a cancelled flight, a strike, an emergency or a visa delay, most recently in March and June 2026. Among stays, one guest in August 2025 said a stranger entered their room at night after the hotel gave out their key, one in September 2025 reported bathroom mold, and a March 2026 guest reported lost jewelry after check-out.

Insider tips

• Read the cancellation terms before booking, since several guests say refunds were refused.
• The entrance smelled of cigarette smoke from the terrace, according to an August 2026 guest.
• The elevator can be slow.
