Why people love it

• Location. Guests say everything is in walking distance, with the castle, the market and shops close. One said it suits both business and leisure.
• The staff. Celeste is thanked by name. A Platinum member who fell ill and had to cut a stay short said the staff were very accommodating.
• Breakfast. Guests call the buffet varied, extensive and well organized. Omelets and fried eggs cost extra.
• Rooms. Several guests describe spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds. One had a seating area and a balcony opening to the communal outside space.

The worst thing guests say

Street noise is the most common complaint. Trams and traffic run past street-facing rooms, and at least seven guests across 2022 to 2026 said they could not sleep or that the soundproofing was weak, including two in August 2026 and two in March 2026. In August 2026 two guests also reported a strong sewer smell in the bathroom. In April 2026 a guest said the air conditioning kept switching off. One 2022 guest said a reservation was cancelled two days before arrival without a refund.

• Ask for a room away from the street, especially if you sleep lightly.
• The hotel has no parking. Guests warned about break-ins at the APCOA garage in July 2025.
