The most serious recurring complaint is the basement rooms. A September 2025 guest was given a damp-smelling basement room, and an August 2025 guest who had been put in a small basement room for the second time described no ventilation, no opening window and mold. A July 2026 guest in a basement room said the shower leaked, and a September 2026 guest had a view of a high wall. Front desk rudeness is reported by guests in November 2025 and August 2024, and a guest in August 2026 arriving at 4 AM said they received no confirmation of a phone booking.
