• Location. Guests describe it as steps from the pedestrian zone, with easy parking.
• Breakfast. One guest called it the best lodging experience of a trip through Germany, Austria and Italy, and said the breakfast was excellent.
• Returning guests. Two families in September 2026 were on a repeat visit, one after a stay the year before and one on a second stay.

The worst thing guests say

The most frequent complaint is that the rooms have no air conditioning. Three overnight guests raise it in August and September 2026, and one said the windows have to be open to keep the room tolerable. A fourth reviewer, dining inside in August 2026, also noted the lack of air conditioning. Two guests in August 2026 felt the stay did not match a price of over 1,000 euros a night. Older and more serious: in March 2024 a guest reported being overcharged $14,000 and getting two different explanations from the manager.
