Hotel Tofana Cortina
A recently renovated spa hotel about 15 minutes by car from central Cortina, with valet parking, a free shuttle to town and dinner options on a 3/4 board plan.
Hidden gemRisingWhy people love it
- The staff. Guests name Christopher, Clorinda, Romeo the waiter and Stella at the front desk. Reviewers describe luggage help at arrival, a free upgrade for a two-night stay and a boxed breakfast prepared for an early hike.
- Dinner. Guests on the 3/4 board plan describe the dinner as fine dining, with several options per course. One honeymoon couple said the plan was well worth it.
- The spa. Several guests single out the spa, including the Aufguss sauna sessions. One guest said her partner rated it the best she had been to.
- Getting around. Valet parking is included, and a free shuttle in electric Mercedes cars runs to Cortina, which one guest said saved them from traffic and limited parking.
- Rooms. Guests mention very soft beds and duvets, quality linens and mountain views from balconies. Several describe the property as new or recently renovated.
The worst thing guests say
The lowest rating from an overnight guest is 2 stars, from August 2026. That guest paid over 1,000 euros for one night, found the hotel on a busy, loud road, and said the website neither shows the road nor mentions it in the room descriptions. Two 1-star reviews from July 2026 are not from overnight guests: one is a cancellation dispute involving Booking.com, and the other reads only "A disgrace".
Insider tips
- Valet parking is included, so you do not need to look for a space.
- Use the free shuttle to Cortina instead of driving into town.
- Ask for a boxed breakfast if you leave early to hike.
- Ask which side of the hotel your room faces if road noise matters to you.
