Why people love it

• Location and views. Guests call it steps from the ferry, with lake views from rooms and from the breakfast terrace.
• Breakfast. Reviewers describe a large buffet and fresh dishes on the terrace overlooking the lake.
• Staff. The Leoni family, Luca, Daniele and Francesco, is named by one guest, and Chiara at reception is thanked by another. Several mention helpful housekeeping and bar staff.
• Rooms and spa. Guests describe huge or spacious clean rooms, large terraces, and one praised the spa. Another says rooms are small but functional.

The worst thing guests say

Most 1-star reviews from 2019 to 2026 are from people who only stopped at the front cafe, terrace or restaurant. They describe rude seating staff, being placed indoors, and a €14 charge for sitting, in about 13 reviews. A June 2026 diner said a purse was stolen in the restaurant. Among the overnight guests we read in 2026, none reported problems. One July 2026 guest complained of flies and bad food.
