The worst thing guests say

A December 2018 guest found the courtyard dark on arrival, and an October 2018 guest said the heating was not turned on. Both are old. No similar complaints appear in the 25 or so reviews since 2024. A September 2025 guest said the nearby restaurant was expensive and that mosquitoes were bad.

Insider tips

  • Maps may send you down a narrow road that does not exit, so follow the host's directions.
  • There is no air conditioning, so summer rooms can be hot.
  • Ask Nazzaro for a restaurant tip and a lift if you have no car.
Who it's for: walkers, couples and anyone who wants a quiet historic stay with a personal host.
Skip it if you need air conditioning in summer or want to walk to a lively town.
