Why people love it

• Lake views. Guests describe rooms with balconies looking over the lake and castle, and breakfast on a terrace with views of the lake and mountains.

• Breakfast. Guests call the buffet excellent and varied.

The worst thing guests say

Dated rooms are the main complaint, raised by three guests in May, June and September 2026, who describe 1980s-style rooms and bathrooms or a need for renovation. In July 2023 and April 2024, two guests described a strong smell of urine or a public toilet in the room or hotel, and both left early. A June 2024 guest also left early over the room and the manager. The 2025 and 2026 reviews I read do not mention smells.
