Hotel Eden

A lakefront hotel in the old town of Sirmione with lake-view rooms, a terrace over the water, and a garage.

Why people love it

• Staff by name. Elvis at the front desk is named by two guests, including one who booked the wrong Hotel Eden by mistake. Grazia (also written Grace) gave restaurant and spa advice, and the manager Elvezio is also named.
• Lake views. Guests describe lake-view rooms, a balcony, and a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas. A terrace extends into the lake.
• Breakfast by the water. Guests describe breakfast on the terrace, though an October 2026 guest wanted more variety.
• Dog friendly. A July 2026 guest calls the hotel very dog friendly.

The worst thing guests say

The most recent complaints are about comfort and upkeep. In September 2025 a guest said cleanliness was not up to a 4-star standard. In March 2025 a guest reported the air conditioning blowing hot air and raised it three times. In August 2024 a guest paid about EUR 300 a night and found the mattress worn out. In October 2023 a guest also mentioned weak bed and pillows and needing to ask for the air conditioning to be turned on. An August 2026 guest gave 3 stars; the visible text praises the building and location.

Insider tips

• Driving to the parking garage means narrow streets, which a March 2026 guest called an adventure.
• Ask for a lake-view room.
• Ask staff to switch on the air conditioning at check-in.
