In June 2025 a guest staying ten days was moved after seven days into a room they called a basement. A 2020 guest found soot on chandeliers, lamps and closets, and in 2021 a guest found the breakfast poor. A July 2024 visitor, not a guest, complained about a set dinner price and quality.
