Why people love it

• The staff. Guests in 2026 single out the service. Luigi at the bar is named, and one guest says a daily local gift is left in the room.
• The beach and bay. Several guests call the beach one of the best on the island, with turquoise water and white sand.
• Grounds and rooms. Guests describe well-kept grounds with flowers, and one August 2026 guest says the hotel was recently renovated.

The worst thing guests say

Visitors who did not stay raised prices most often: a €35 pool-bar cocktail, €18 for two cappuccinos, sunbeds quoted at €200 per person and the beach being privatized (reviews from 2016 to 2024). Among overnight guests, a loyal guest in September 2026 said they were pushed out right after checkout because of a wedding, and in July 2026 a guest waited an hour for a menu at the beach. In 2024 and 2019, guests said service did not meet Belmond or five-star standards.
