Why people love it

• Warm, helpful host. Guests say the staff go above and beyond, and that complimentary drinks and snacks are offered in the lounge in the afternoon.

• Quiet, cared-for spaces. A guest in August 2026 stayed in the back building and found it pleasantly quiet. The lounge is full of books and decorations.

The worst thing guests say

Overbooking and cancellation. A November 2025 guest said their prepaid reservation was cancelled the day before their trip because of overbooking, and a 2023 and a 2020 guest described the same thing. A June 2026 guest said their room had no windows and the air conditioning could not cope above 30 degrees at night. In July 2026 a guest expected more based on the review scores, and a September 2025 guest found the room basic and not clean enough.

• Confirm your reservation shortly before you arrive.
• Driving? The center is a restricted traffic zone, so ask the B&B about a permit. Parking nearby was about 20 euros extra in 2023 or a paid garage 50 meters away.
• Ask for a room with a window and check air conditioning in summer.
