Room Mate Giulia

A four-star hotel a short walk from the Duomo, with an art-filled lounge, a spa and a breakfast buffet.

Why people love it

• Location. Guests say the Duomo is around the corner, and shopping is close. One group walked from the central station.
• The reception team. Marco, Pietro, Andrea and Rachele are named in recent reviews for recommendations, taxis and help with luggage.
• Rooms. Reviewers describe spacious, recently renovated rooms and very clean bathrooms.
• Breakfast. Guests describe a large selection and a plentiful buffet.

Why they come back

"We stayed at this hotel 4 more times. Everything was amazing. All receptions especially Marco were so kind and helpful."

The worst thing guests say

Missing belongings and billing disputes appear in the older reviews. Four reviews in June and July 2024 describe a EUR 1,500 shopping bag that disappeared from a room, with the manager showing only partial camera footage. In January 2026 a guest said they were charged for minibar items. In 2025 and early 2024 guests said the hotel would not refund prepaid stays after emergencies.

Insider tips

• Ask what the minibar charges before you use it.
• Read the cancellation terms on prepaid rates.
• Tell the front desk about a honeymoon or birthday, since staff have left gifts.
