Montenapoleone Suites

A hotel with suites and apartments about 12 minutes on foot from the Duomo in Milan, with no on-site breakfast and some rooms in a neighboring building.

Why people love it

• Location. Guests give a walk of 5 minutes to shopping and 10 to 12 minutes to the Duomo. One guest called it quiet and tucked away.
• Space. Guests describe rooms as spacious, with room for kids and for groups of four or five.
• Staff. Several 2026 guests describe the staff as helpful and kind.
• Beds and cleanliness. Reviewers in July and August 2026 mention comfortable beds and clean rooms.

The worst thing guests say

Air conditioning and heating fail often. A June 2026 guest said the air conditioning did not work at all in hot weather, and a September 2026 guest said the room could only be cooled, not heated. Reviews from 2022 and 2023 also report no working air conditioning. Cleanliness (August and September 2026), an unreturned 200 euro deposit (September 2026) and a stolen backpack (December 2025) are also reported. A November 2025 guest who had stayed nine times for EICMA was given a room in the next building.

Insider tips

• Check the air conditioning and heating on arrival and ask for a fix right away.
• Breakfast is not offered, but guests say there are many places nearby.
• Confirm which building your room is in.
• Ask in writing for the date the deposit will be returned.
