• The owner and staff. Owner Miriam is named in many recent reviews for greeting guests personally. Guests also name Marco, Federica and Sandra, and one couple celebrating a birthday said Miriam made the stay extra special.
• The building and the art. Guests describe a historic palace filled with art, with eclectic pieces in the lounges and suites and carefully chosen objects throughout.
• Rooms and breakfast. Guests call the suites spacious, quiet and cool. Breakfast is described as varied, with high-quality products.
• Location. The hotel is in the historic center, steps from the cathedral, and guests walk to everything.

The worst thing guests say

Two 1-star reviews. In July 2024 a guest called the owner rude and unprofessional. In November 2023 a guest said 400 euros was taken from their room and that they had to push at reception to get a receipt. These are two reviews against about 90 mostly 5-star ones, and nothing similar appears in the 25 newest. One July 2026 guest also said the rooftop bar is too hot without fans.
