Why people love it

• The setting. Guests describe the gardens, the pool and views over the Tuscan hills, and one says it has a real sense of privacy and space.
• Staff. Matteo, Ilaria and Christian are named for welcoming guests and answering questions. An August 2026 guest on an engagement trip found the staff helpful, responsive and kind.
• Breakfast. An August 2026 guest called the breakfast incredible, and a guest who visited in February 2024 brought a two-year-old, who was given cookies and a balloon.
• Rooms and suites. A May 2026 guest had a two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms. Another guest praised the room furnishings.

The worst thing guests say

Theft is the most serious complaint. Three reviews, two from March 2025 and one from March 2026, describe money missing from guest rooms, each from a group of 10 or more people. Service complaints appear as well: rude staff and a wait at check-in in December 2025, a guest who left at 1 a.m. in April 2025, and a guest who found a reservation could not be cancelled in September 2025. Among the 18 newest reviews, from May to September 2026, the only 1-star review is from a June 2026 visitor asking about an event venue.

• Use the in-room safe for cash and valuables. Three reviews report money missing from rooms.
• Pre-purchase breakfast items if the hotel offers it, as one August 2026 guest regretted not doing.
