Why people love it

• Location. Guests describe walking to the Duomo, the Uffizi and the Accademia, with shops and restaurants around the hotel.
• Staff. Michele is named for check-in help and recommendations. Guests also mention the reception team, the doorman, a housekeeper and the bar staff during the free happy hour, and say staff can book restaurants and taxis.
• Breakfast. Breakfast is free, and several guests rate it highly. One August guest mentions local breads.
• In the room. One August guest says the minibar is included, with Prosecco, and is restocked every morning. A July guest says you can control the air conditioning entirely from the room.
• The tower. One guest recommends climbing the spiral staircase on the top floor, by the restaurant, for the view.

The worst thing guests say

Air conditioning is the most serious recent complaint. In July 2026 a guest found the AC not working after check-in, was told it could not be fixed, and was offered a refund. A guest in August 2022 reported the AC not working on both days. Among the 22 newest reviews, from July to September 2026, that is the only 1-star review, 19 are 5 stars, and the others are a 4-star and a 3-star review. Older 1-star reviews describe a reservation cancelled days before arrival (March 2025), a junior suite that disappointed a guest (January 2025 review), and being yelled at by a check-in agent over the group size (November 2025).

• Confirm your room category before you go. Junior suite complaints appear in reviews from 2019 and 2025.
