Park Hotel

A four-star lakefront hotel in Desenzano with an outdoor pool, a restaurant and parking, a minute or two from the old town.

Why people love it

• Staff who go further. One guest in September 2026 said staff drove them to the train station when no taxis were available. Others describe the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping as friendly and helpful.
• Location on the lake. Guests mention the lake view, the walk of one to two minutes to the old town, restaurants and the port, and boat trips to Sirmione.
• Breakfast. Described as varied and delicious in several recent reviews, with good coffee. One guest called it fantastic.
• The pool. A guest in August 2026 liked the quiet pool area with a lake view and pool bar staff who remembered their wine orders.

The worst thing guests say

Recent low ratings are about service and rooms. In July 2026 one guest gave 1 star because housekeeping skipped their room all day, even after they asked reception. In October 2025 a guest called their room very small, and in August 2025 another said the pool was cold and the hotel is not child friendly. Earlier, in 2024, two guests described a rude receptionist and a dirty room with worn furniture.

Insider tips

• Parking is available at the hotel.
• The train station is about a 20-minute walk.
• One guest found the rooms small and without a mirror or iron, so ask about room size when you book.
