Why people love it

• Mattia at the front desk. Mattia is thanked by name in at least six recent reviews for helping with Como tips, staying in touch before arrival and making guests feel welcome.
• The waterfront setting. Guests can walk to Como and the ferry and say the lake view from bed and balcony is a highlight.
• Corner Suite terrace. One guest called the Corner Suite large, with a terrace nearly the same size as the room.
• Breakfast and coffee. Guests found the breakfast delicious, and Giovanna is singled out for friendly service in the cafe.

The worst thing guests say

Complaints from guests about events and service recur. Two wedding parties (May 2025 and June 2026) said planning and room handling were poor, a guest in July 2026 said the air conditioning was not fixed overnight, and another in March 2026 reported a rude staff member. A guest in September 2026 who liked the stay said the property is in need of an upgrade after a fire in the spa.
