A 3-star hotel on Piazza Volta in the pedestrian zone of central Como, with breakfast, a bar and small rooms.
Why people love it
- Location. Guests call it very central, close to the lake, the old town and the train station.
- Front desk staff. Francesco, Dasha and Francesca are named for being kind and helpful, and Francesco offered to text one guest when an early room was ready.
- Breakfast. Guests mention a plentiful breakfast with a juice press, pastries and bread.
- Rooms with a balcony. One guest had a spacious room with a balcony on the piazza.
The worst thing guests say
Noise is the main complaint. Guests from July 2025 to May 2026 said the square outside is loud at night and soundproofing is poor. A guest in May 2026 also reported bugs on a bed. Others in 2025 said the air conditioning was loud or broken and that the room was small and had no window.
Insider tips
- Rooms can be small and dark, so ask about room size.
- Ask for a room away from the piazza if you sleep lightly.
- The walk from the train station has stairs and cobbles, which is hard with luggage.
