Cefalù Sea Palace

A five-star hotel across the road from a private beach in Cefalù, with an outdoor pool, a spa and a beach restaurant.

Why people love it

• The beach across the road. Guests describe a private beach opposite the hotel with a beach bar, and say staff keep it clean and look after guests when the waves are high.
• Large balconies and sea-view rooms. A guest staying a week in late September 2026 had a first-floor room with a huge balcony. Another stayed in a superior double with a sea view and liked the firm beds.
• Staff and chef. Several 2026 guests call the staff friendly and helpful. A family that held a baptism here in April 2026 singled out the chef for his attentiveness.
• Parking and walk to town. Guests mention the hotel's own parking and an easy walk to town.

The worst thing guests say

Rude staff and noise are the main complaints. At least six reviews from 2023 to 2026 describe rude reception or restaurant staff. Noise from events is the other pattern: a guest in February 2026 and another in August 2025 said loud parties could not be controlled, and several August 2026 reviews describe karaoke at the lounge bar after 2 a.m. on August 15. One guest in March 2026 with a lactose intolerance said food was not labelled and requests were not accommodated. Newest reviews average 3.8 against 4.3 lifetime.

Insider tips

• Ask about events or parties on your dates before booking, especially around August 15.
• Superior doubles have the sea view; one guest noted there is no walk-in shower in that room type.
• Parking is free, but one guest said the lot is up a narrow road.
