Why people love it

• Service and welcome. Guests describe an organized arrival, and Mattia is named for greeting a mother and son at check-in. Several recent reviewers say the staff handled every request quickly.
• The rooftop pool. Guests call the rooftop pool in the middle of town unique, and the hotel is steps from the shops and restaurants.
• Rooms and breakfast. One October 2025 guest rated the rooms, service and breakfast a 10. The same guest notes there is no sea view because the hotel is in the center of town.
• Details. A guest in November 2025 said the hotel thought of every detail for a three-night stay.

The worst thing guests say

Among overnight guests, a September 2026 guest said the hotel took a card pre-authorization on top of charges already paid in advance, and a June 2026 guest felt the room was weak for the price. A 2024 guest paid about €1,550 a night for an upgrade that faced the garbage area, with pickup at 6:00 a.m. Older reviews from 2018 and 2019 complained about charges for an iron (€10 an hour) and water. Many of the 1-star ratings, from 2016 to 2025, come from visitors to the restaurant, bar, terrace and spa, who described slow or rude service and high prices.
