Hotel della Piccola Marina

A four-star hotel in the hills of Capri with a pool and snack bar, sea views and breakfast included, about 5 to 8 minutes on foot from the center.

Why people love it

• Pool and bar staff. Krisanta at the pool bar is named in at least five recent reviews. Fernando, Juicie, Margarita, Ilaria and Francesco are also named.
• Breakfast. Guests call breakfast complete, generous and superb.
• Location. Guests put the center at 5 to 8 minutes on foot, and the stairs lead down to Marina Piccola beach, about 15 minutes away.
• Rooms. Reviewers describe large, spotless rooms, sea views, and a bathroom with good water pressure.
• A quiet pool. A June 2026 guest says the pool was always quiet.

Why they come back

"We're back here until June 12th, 2026, and I can already say everything is wonderful. We feel very comfortable; it's perfect."

The worst thing guests say

In July 2026 a guest gave 1 star, writing that the rooms numbered in the 100s smelled so strongly of mold that two days made all their clothes in the luggage unusable. Among the 23 reviews from May to October 2026, no other guest mentions it. Older 1 and 2-star reviews from 2022 to 2024 mention dirty or old rooms, an air conditioner that did not work for the first 36 hours, a broken elevator on four floors in September 2024, and a pool sectioned off with rope.

Insider tips

• Ask which floor your room is on, and request a room away from the 100s given the July 2026 review.
• Allow time for the stairs down to Marina Piccola, and a walk back up.
• A July 2026 guest found the pool cold, so check the temperature in cooler months.
