TORTE & LINI
A B&B in rooms on the first floor of an apartment building a short walk behind Bologna's central train station, with its own small parking lot.
Why people love it
- Elisabetta and the breakfast. Elisabetta, also written Elisabeta, is named for her homemade desserts and savory dishes. A February 2026 guest says she arrived early to make breakfast before their trip.
- Junior suite. Guests recommend the junior suite as spacious and modern, with a bathroom one reviewer called spacious. One group of three shared it.
- Close to the station. It is about a five minute walk from the station and about 1.4 km from the center, a 15 minute walk.
- Parking. The lot behind the building costs €15 per night.
Why they come back
"I've stayed at this B&B several times with my daughter and have had a wonderful time."
The worst thing guests say
In October 2026 a guest left without staying because of black hairs and stains on the bed. In May 2025 a guest called the area unsafe and hard to find, and an April 2025 guest found the place shady. Older reviews from 2021 to 2024 describe mold in a shower, a missing crib, a dispute over lost earphones, and a canceled direct booking. Several guests, including from 2025, say the shared kitchen and corridor feel like a hostel.
Insider tips
- Arrive past midnight? The hosts send clear self check-in instructions.
- The area behind the station can feel rough at night, so check the route.
- Rooms share a kitchen or entry area with other guests.
- Close windows if train noise bothers you, though a 2025 guest found the window soundproof.
