ResArt Iacomus

A small hotel near Bologna's train station with a fine art gallery on the ground floor and plain, clean rooms, some with kitchens.

Why people love it

• Value and cleanliness. Guests call the rooms very clean, the beds comfortable and the price good. One guest said the water was very hot with good pressure.
• Staff welcome. Guests describe a friendly, helpful reception. One guest was upgraded to a room with a terrace and another was allowed to leave bags before the room was ready.
• Art. A May 2026 guest called it a hotel combined with a museum, and a September guest described staying in an art exhibition.
• Location. Reviews say it is near the train station and the old town, and a short bus ride and walk from the airport.

The worst thing guests say

The most repeated complaint is that rooms are basic or small. An October 2026 guest called them almost dorm-like. A November 2023 guest said the room was small, with nowhere to hang clothes and no mirror. A June 2025 guest said the photos do not match the room paid for (the text is cut off), and an October 2021 guest said an extra tax was charged at the end of the stay. Noise from the street and hallway was raised in October 2022. In the 20 newest reviews, April to October 2026, there is a 1-star review from September 2026 and a 3-star from October 2026, and two 1-star reviews from February 2026 say the experience fell short of expectations (the text is cut off).
