Why people love it

• Named staff. Guests name Lisa at the front desk, Giorgia, and a bartender, and one mentions the car pick-up staff through to the room attendants. Several say the service is the best they have had anywhere.
• Food. A September guest calls the Caracci restaurant exceptional, another says the cakes at breakfast are the best they have had, and a July guest praises both restaurants.
• Rooms. Guests mention linen sheets, very clean rooms and extra touches for a child traveling with a parent.

The most serious items come from stayers in the lowest-rated reviews. In April 2026 a guest wrote that people of color should think carefully before booking and described their own stay (the text is cut off). In January 2026 a guest said the room smelled like sewer and the manager said he could not smell it. In December 2024 a guest said a staff member reprimanded them that the facilities were only for guests. Other 2025 and 2026 reviews describe a ZTL ticket after staff did not report a plate (May 2026), a birthday reservation cancelled the day before (April 2026), and a booking declined for a guest who says rooms were available (December 2025).
