Palace Lido Hotel & Suites

A four-star hotel on the seafront promenade of Marina di Cecina with a rooftop pool, bar and breakfast terrace on the fifth floor.

Why people love it

• The rooftop. Breakfast, the bar and a small pool are all on the fifth floor. Guests in 2026 mention the sea view from the terrace and say the breakfast is excellent.
• Staff from reception to housekeeping. Guests in July, August and September 2026 describe the staff as friendly and professional, including the floor staff and the people at the rooftop bar.
• Spacious, clean rooms. Reviewers describe large rooms, some sea-facing with a balcony or a double bathtub. One guest in October 2026 called everything from the underground garage to the pool bar immaculate.
• Location on the promenade. The beach is about 20 m away, and one guest in September 2026 found it peaceful despite the cafes and shops outside.
• The restaurant. Several 2026 guests praise the hotel restaurant, and one mentions Ostro by name.

Why they come back

"We haven't been back to this hotel in two years because of a family issue at home. We returned this week because we have very fond memories of this Hotel and the area."

The worst thing guests say

Among lower ratings, noise comes up most. Two guests in 2022 said the building is noisy despite renovation, and one in July 2022 blamed the rooms below. One guest in August 2024 paid about 510 euros a night and reported a sewage smell in the room and a poor breakfast. In 2025 and 2026 the complaints are smaller: a shallow rooftop pool, no gym, a narrow bed, a wall-mounted TV that is hard to watch from bed, and price.

Insider tips

• The beach in front is pebbly, which one 2021 guest said was not mentioned when booking.
• There is an underground parking garage.
• Call ahead if you need to charge an electric car, since a 2024 guest found a phone question was not treated as a reservation.
• Suites include sun loungers on the beach, according to a 2022 guest.
