Agricampeggio Ippocampo

A small camper and tent site near Cecina with large pitches, three pools, a restaurant area and online check-in.

Why people love it

• Large pitches. Guests say some pitches fit motorhomes up to 12 meters, and one group of 12 campers praised the space.
• The pools. Guests praise the pool area, with one pool for swimming and one for relaxing, and umbrellas and sunbeds.
• Friendly staff. Reviews in August and September 2026 name Rosario and describe helpful staff, including an owner who speaks German.
• Easy late arrival. A September 2026 guest arrived at 11 PM by entering a code at the barrier after checking in online.
• Bike paths and sea. The sea and cycling routes are nearby.

The worst thing guests say

Safety and management when other guests misbehave. In September 2026, two guests said the owners and staff did not handle a violent guest or other situations, and one said it affected their sense of security. Other recurring points in 2026: no drinking water on site, little shade and poor sanitary facilities (reported by about five guests from June to September), and a crowded pool in August.

Insider tips

• Book ahead if you need a 12 meter pitch, as only two are available.
• Bring drinking water, since several guests said water on site is not drinkable or costs 5 euros for 200 liters at the entrance.
• The pitches have little shade in summer.
• Check in online if you arrive late.
