Palazzo Scotto
A three-star hotel in the center of Alberobello with trulli suites, a restaurant, a garden for breakfast and an elevator.
Why people love it
- The welcome. Guests name Giuseppe at breakfast and Anna Rita as hotel host. One guest who arrived at 3:00 AM was still welcomed warmly, and another checked in late through WhatsApp.
- Location. Reviewers describe it as a short walk from the main sights, restaurants and gelato, and about 5 minutes from the center.
- Breakfast. Guests mention a garden breakfast, and one was offered a glass of prosecco.
- Rooms. An upstairs suite is described as spacious and spotless, and several guests liked staying in a trullo.
The worst thing guests say
Several guests in recent months raised real issues. In March 2026 a guest said the town clock next door chimes every 15 minutes through the night. In February 2026 a guest said the advertised apartment entrance did not exist and it was a plain street door, and another said the room was far from the main building, with no Wi-Fi and a long breakfast wait. In August 2026 one guest called the room unsanitary. In November 2025 a guest was unhappy with the check-out process. Several 1-star reviews from 2018 to 2021 are about a cancelled booking, a long wait at the door, or cleanliness, and mostly came from people who did not stay.
