Why people love it

• The setting. Guests describe a rural property where donkeys, cows and rabbits wander the grounds. Rooms are in the countryside.

The worst thing guests say

Three guests with reservations had their rooms canceled or were moved out: two reviews in September 2018 about being asked to leave on their last night, and one in June 2023 about cancellation on arrival due to overbooking. One guest in March 2024 said the rooms were damp. Restaurant visitors in 2024 to 2026 also complained about food, wine, a 40 euro menu required for a 5 year old, and cash-only payment.
