Why people love it

• The gardens. Guests describe flowering vines on stone facades, well-kept lawns and shaded grounds. One guest in October 2025 praised the gardeners.
• Three pools. Guests mention three pools without crowding. One guest in 2024 said the pool was a 30 second walk from their one-bedroom apartment.
• The hosts and the welcome. Several guests describe a welcome of toast, jam, pâté, coffee, tea and a few drinks. One guest on a fully loaded motorcycle in May 2025 said check-in was flexible.
• Location without the noise. Guests say it is quiet and still about 5 to 10 minutes on foot from the beach, a supermarket and restaurants, with the old town about 15 minutes away.

In 79 Google reviews the lowest rating is 4 stars. The only complaint found is a €50 cleaning fee, raised by one guest in 2017, who said it can only be avoided by cleaning the apartment yourself. One 2026 guest called the surrounding holiday apartment area rather unattractive. No cleanliness, noise or maintenance complaints appear in recent reviews.
