Best Western

A four-star hotel on the main road at the entrance to Ajaccio with an outdoor pool, restaurant, 24-hour bar and sea views from some rooms.

Why people love it

• Friendly staff. Thya, Laura, Camille and Nahoulia are named by guests in 2026 for their welcome, and one couple received a small anniversary gift.
• Spacious modern rooms. 2026 guests describe large, clean, renovated rooms and suites, some with a balcony over the sea.
• Pool and breakfast. The outdoor pool, pool towels, water fountains in the hallways and a varied breakfast buffet are all praised.
• Parking. A September 2026 guest mentions secure parking with spaces available.

Why they come back

"I came back after two years and the place is even better."

The worst thing guests say

Deposits and billing come up repeatedly. A guest in May 2026 was asked for a €600 security deposit on a credit card for a €420 stay, another in July 2024 complained about a deposit fee, and a guest in August 2026 wrote that they were still waiting for a deposit refund a year after their stay. Noise from the dual carriageway, the railway and construction is raised by guests in March 2025, July 2025 and September 2026. In April 2025 a guest said air conditioning was not running.

Insider tips

• Ask about the security deposit and how it will be refunded before you arrive.
• Ask for a room away from the main road.
• Some rooms have no fridge.
• The center is a drive away, so expect to use a car or taxi.
